SMS Terms & Consent

Effective August 25, 2026

New Hope Therapeutic Solutions PLLC offers optional SMS text messaging for appointment reminders, scheduling information, and administrative updates. SMS is not used for psychotherapy, emergencies, or detailed clinical communications.

How patients opt in
Patients opt in by providing their mobile number and affirmatively selecting the SMS consent option in New Hope Therapeutic Solutions’ intake or communication-consent documents. Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of receiving services. We retain a record of the patient’s consent.

Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies according to appointment and administrative needs. Message and data rates may apply based on the patient’s mobile plan. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opting out and assistance
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving SMS messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact paul@newhopepractice.com. After opting out, a patient may still receive communications through secure Spruce messaging or other agreed methods.

Privacy and security
Standard SMS is not guaranteed to be secure. New Hope Therapeutic Solutions does not send sensitive clinical information by standard SMS. Mobile opt-in information and consent are not sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. Information may be shared with service providers only as necessary to deliver messaging services, subject to applicable privacy and security requirements. See our Confidentiality & Privacy Policy for additional information.
